2007 marked the 20th edition of the Midwest Electric Champs organized by Columbus Radio Controlled Racing Club (CRCRC) in Hilliard, Ohio. Recognized as the first big off-road race of the new year, the event attracts the best drivers from across the country.

The unique race format called for three 5-minute qualifying rounds with 6-minute main events. The triple A-main format would be used to determine the championship results. Qualifying ended with Team Orion/AE Factory Driver Ryan Cavalieri 3rd on the grid in 2wd Modified, 2nd on the grid in Truck Modified, and on the pole in 4wd Modified.

All three Modified classes came down to the third set of A Mains. Cavalieri, doing what he does best, came through with victories in all 3 classes!

Revolution V2 horsepower worked in harmony with Ryan’s driving style. And V-Max 35 matched cells provided maximum power and duration, even in the extended 6-minute main events.

Congratulations Ryan!
