British 1:10 National Championship

Fresh from winning the opening round of the British 1:10 National Championship last weekend, Mark Green continued his winning ways by dominating the opening round of the 1:8 Championship at Mendip on Sunday.


Driving his Serpent 960/Mega combination Green took the TQ position in the sunny conditions ahead of team-mate and defending British Champion Richard Hicklin.

In Main Final Green blitzed the opposition to win the 30 minute encounter by a massive 3-lap margin setting the fastest lap of the race enrounte to his third major victory in as many weeks.

In the British Junior Championship, Ian Campbell got his title defence off to a strong start by taking the win with his new Mega powered 960FD.
