Mark Green had plenty of reason to smile at the latest round of the BRCA British National 1:8 Championship.  Having dominated the opening round of the championship at Mendip the winner of the Pre Worlds was again the man to beat in Round 2 at Crystal Palace.

Round 4 of the 2007 Fintrack Nationals was held at the Laukaa track in a mid-size sports hall. This was the last indoor race of the Fintrack Nationals… after indoor racing season it’s time to go out and there will be four races more. The track layout was good and challenging. The track sides were made from metal drainpipes and that caused a lot of retirements over the weekend. All of the fastest drivers (except Teemu Leino) were there.

The truggy being a prototype required more time to adjust for Australian conditions however by the AWJ challenge it was extremely competitive even though it had several parts still under development and was not 100% OCM in components but the main aim of the company at that stage was to test the geometry and other innovations on the truggy.

The first race in the Öresund Cup, a cup series that includes four different races… two in Sweden and two in Denmark. The first race was in Staffanstorp in south Sweden. The weather was cold and windy with not so much grip on the track.
