Kyle Branson, a member of the Serpent Driver Development program, was one of the stars of the EFRA GP of Portugal over the weekend with the younger charger setting the third fastest time in qualifying for the event.

Racing his Mega powered Serpent 720, the BRCA British National Championship contender drove superbly at the Lisbon track which will host the 2008 IFMAR 1:10 Worlds to line up behind established international stars Francesco Tironi and Martin Christensen.

Starting 3rd for the 45 minute final, which saw 5 Serpent 720 on the grid, the SDD driver was to retire just after the half way point after contact with a large tyre on the perimeter of the unforgiving track damaged his car.
