On weekend of 17. - 19 August 2007 took place the large end run of the LRP HPI Challenge in other oh one. With no less than 191 participants this German championship was the largest national R/C Car Event of the yearly!

Also prize moneys were record suspicious: To the winners of the annual U16 junior valuation 2,400 became, - € in the form of coupons presents. Altogether special prices in the value of 10.000, - € spent - to the regional winners, the Platzierten of the season and in the context of drawing by lots among all participants became. Each participant got a special price!
Also the location set new yardsticks! As venue the again established Motodrom was selected in other oh one, the probably most modern R/C Car racing course of Germany. The team around Uwe Rhine pool of broadcasting corporations had everything perfectly in the grasp, begun of up to the Catering!
Thus stood to this mega+ Event nothing more in the way and a more exciting run followed the next!

Stick Challenge
The stick Challenge was the most strongly occupied class with 86 participants. This number of participants underlines impressively that the Challengemacher met the participants this quite young class with the STICK Challenge fully and very well to have assumed. With small costs, opening of the class for all chassis and a very good unit engine is ideal this class for ambitionierte running drivers.
Also which concerns the restriction of the drivers, LRP here own ways goes:
For this class there is an arrangement between SMI (Xray importer) and LRP (HPI and Hot Bodies), to use at least on DM no team drivers in this class. Thus this class, which is settled clearly under the “king class” 17T-Challenge, should be reserved actually the private drivers.
Unfortunately divided not all this philosophy, so that some drivers rode along, who belong to Challenge fahrerisch reliably into those 17th. Our congratulation goes therefore particularly to the best private driver, Tim farmer on place 2, which used even still another “old” Xray T2. In addition, most popular car was here the Hot Bodies Cyclone, final with 4 vehicles in A final and B victory.

17th Challenge
Those 17th Challenge was the fastest class of this DM. Here maximum speeds were measured by 56km/h! This shows that a mark cup with standard can be engines also correctly fast on the way! Altogether 64 drivers went in this class to the start. Among them also some German Top drivers also on DMC the DM´s completely in front ride along!
Despite the immensely strong competition previous year winner Bastian shepherd (16) could than only convince more and won outstandingly with its Hot Bodies Cyclone all 4 advances and the A-final. In this form Bastian will be able itself to set shepherds surely also after its ascent into the DMC Modified class well in scene.
Likewise with a HB Cyclone landed its team colleague Daniel Wohlgemuth - the TCM winner 2007 - on that 2. Place. The Vormachstellung of the Cyclone was underlined by the places 4 and 5 of Stefan bridges and Pascal beautiful skirt, which affirmed by it the over-powerful conception of the Hot Bodies Cyclone.
Bastian shepherd used the new LRP QC-3 digitally travel automatic controller (stock No. 80830), which stands briefly now before the distribution. By some production bottlenecks it came to delays however the LRP Factory team used industriously and further improvements to prototypes to make. Thus contain the final version the newest software, adapted on the newest Akkus and engines. The QC-3 is now no longer waterproof, but however only 17.5g easily.

GTI Challenge
The GTI class is meanwhile much more than „only “the entrance class into the Challenge. The GTI class developed to the cult and the small GTI´s is a firm size in the Challenge.
The result list of this DM reads itself also after the slogan „youth is plays the trump card “, because with the winner Andre Pribbenow and Steffen Maier at the third place were equal two youth drivers on the podium. A clear indication that the GTI class is the entrance into the Challenge.
