Serpent EP buggy Prototypes in IFMAR World Championship 4WD Final

Serpent drivers Billy Easton (USA) and Joern Neumann (Germany) have both placed their Serpent Durango based prototype 4wd buggies into the World Championships A-Main held last weekend. Billy went on to finish 5th overall while Neumann, in his 1st ever WC event, claimed 10th. Considering the level at World Championship events this was a fabulous achievement for both drivers, and the Serpent prototype buggy.

Proper chassis droop is a critical yet frequently overlooked set-up feature of modern 1/8 off-road cars and truggies. It is essential for proper handling of the car to get balanced down travel on each side of the suspension and as such HUDY is the first RC company to develop and produce the first purposefully-designed 1/8 Off-road large-size droop gauge support blocks.

The fourth and final Swiss Championship v-TRACK 200mm race took place on September 1/2 in the Western part of Switzerland in a beautiful town called Aigle.
The track opened for free practice on Saturday morning, and the weather forecast promised beautiful and pleasant racing weather for the whole weekend. Fortunately it was right on the money with 20°C temperatures and very pleasant sunshine.

The Serpent UK team of Mark Green, Tim Wood and Richard Hicklin could not have achieved a better result for the 960 over the weekend at Tibshelf when the trio completed the A Final podium for the ninth round of the BRCA British 1:8 National Championships.
