XRAY T2’008

Based on the very successful T2 and T2’007 platforms, XRAY now presents the improved and refined XRAY T2’008. For the first time, XRAY has purposefully designed a touring car for both foam tire racing and rubber tire racing — and also taking into account the 5-cell and 6-cell racing rules — to gain a distinct edge in the highly-competitive spectrum of foam and rubber tire racing.

Since the release of the first T1 in 2000, XRAY has become synonymous with quality, workmanship, performance, and luxury in the RC world. With countless victories and national titles from all around the world — including 16x title of US National Champion, 2x European Junior Champion and multiple European Vice-Champion, and with multiple Car of the Year Awards — XRAY touring cars have become the world’s most favorite touring car as voted in the Reader’s Choice Awards. Over the years, XRAY’s Engineering Department has continued its ongoing development, bringing with it a fresh new version of its touring car platform, always superseding and improving upon its predecessors.

In its first event, the European Championships, Team XRAY & the pre-production XRAY T2’008 took the TQ position and the title of European Vice-Champion and accounted for 10 out of the top 20 positions and placed 4 cars in the A main final and at the end gained the title of European Junior Champion… one of the world’s most successful debuts ever.

New T2’008 Features:

– EU Edition: new longer 52mm front/rear CVD drive shafts positioned more towards centerline in diff/solid axle outdrives to generate more overall traction and make the car easier to drive on low-traction tracks
• New position of rear diff for improved forward traction
