BRCA 1:12th NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND ONE - MILTON KEYNES

After a long break for the summer, the BRCA National Championship 2007/2008 began. The host club put on a great event in Milton Keynes laying out a demanding, technical track. It became apparent that the surface was quite bumpy not unusual for 1:12th scale, but offering a greater challenge than first thought.

Per Ola Hard is the 2007 Swedish 1:10 200mm National Champion. The Serpent team driver secured the title in the best way possible over the weekend with victory in the final round.

Racing at the fast Staffanstorp track in the south of the country, Hard’s Mega powered Serpent 720 was working brilliantly allowing him to TQ for the all important grand finale.

Race report by Bart Wubben - 5th round
The 5th round of the Dutch Championship was held on August 26 on the tricky and bumpy HFCC track. On Saturday I was not able to practice but since it’s my home track I already had a pretty decent setup. In the morning I drove a few practice laps and the car was good for the track conditions.

with the released a new set of rear hubs designed for the Losi 8ight buggy and 8ight Truggy. After extensive testing, with the help of there team drivers, Trinity is finally ready to release these hubs to the public. They offer several camber adjustments along with set screws to hold the hinge pins in place(nice touch), and a brushed aluminum look.

Chris Malone’s heavily modified Tamiya Wild Dagger (Bedfordshire, United Kingdom)

A Tamiya Wild Dagger is the base of this highly customized truck. Actually, there is little Dagger left. Chris calls his creation, “Cold Fusion”, and it is built as a racer. His goal was to make it able to hang with any other MT out on the track. It has been in the works and getting refined for about 3 years and he tells us that he is really pleased with how it has turned out.
