Temporary drift course for the first time guests are traveling by making it easier beginner’s course and an advanced course for technical Al Teatro, whom everybody from beginners to advanced courses at the same layout sometimes it runs out.

14-year-old Maxim Claes made himself a young man to watch out for in 2008 as he notched up a superb victory in the final round of the Belgian 1:10 200mm Championships last weekend at Charleroi.

Racing for only 18 months, the promising teenager qualified his Serpent 720/Mega combination second for the Final before going on to get the better of new champion Manuel Henriet to take the win and secure 3rd overall in the championship.

Serpent’s new EP 190mm Touring Car the S400 made the perfect debut in Hungary recently when Csekõ Gergely took the car to victory in the latest round of the Modellzona Winter Cup 07-08 at Nagydorog.

Gergely was able to win the final easily setting the fastest lap of the race to head home Forrai Gábor and Jávorkai György.
Final Result

1. Csekõ Gergely (S400) - 27 laps in 5:02.002
2. Forrai Gábor - 27 laps in 5:07.000
3. Jávorkai György - 25 laps in 05:04.124

Cristiani on the Podium

Snake Pit report - Saturday

After an amazing run from the quarter finals and overcoming a lost lap at the beginning of the hour long main final, young Italian Serpent 960 driver Andrea Cristiani has claimed the runner up spot at this years World Championships. Having had to pit early in the race for a tire related problem, Andrea rejoined over a lap down on the rest of the field and set about unlapping himself from the entire field, setting the fastest lap of the race by 2 tenths of a second on his way to 2nd. At the end he was only 4 seconds behind the now 8-time World Champion Lamberto Collari, which is an amazing feat for the young Serpent driver and stands him apart as a future World Champion.
