The 22nd TWSF International EP RC Car Grandprix took place recently in Hong Kong recently where Serpent driver Poon Chiu Him took his S400 to a strong podium finish.

Qualifying 10th for the A-Final, Chiu Him enjoyed a really strong run in the final climbing through the field to finish second ahead of Top Qualifier Surikarn who completed the podium placings.

Business as usual fro Zachariades

It was business as usual for Team Serpent Cyprus driver Nicholas Zachariades as the 1:10 200mm ace clocked up yet another victory in the Cyprus Nitro Challenge.

Driving his Mega powered 720, Zachariades TQ’d his Xceed shod car for the event following a fantastic run in qualifying.

In the final a poor start saw the multiple race winner and championship title favourite drop to second but within two laps he was back in front where he would stay till the flag.

Making his debut with Team Serpent Cyprus, Marios Christodoulou also got his 720 into the A Final finishing an encouraging fifth for the Modelsport  supported team.

The JBRL Series finals were held at Hot Rod Hobbies in Saugus, CA just a few short weeks ago. Team Orion Factory Drivers Ryan Cavalieri, Frank Root, and Joe Pillars took time from their busy schedules to attend.

The new track layout for the JBRL Final would also be the same layout for the Reedy Truck Race the very next weekend. The track was very high speed and flowing with a huge triple jump in the back of the track.
