Craig Drescher took his Team Associated TC5 FT to victory in the first round of the CML Carpet Masters for the 07/08 season.

Craig took the pole position by just 3/4 of second from new team mate Andrew Robson. The Yokomo of Ian Whittingham was only a further 1/4 of a second further back in 3rd. A fantastic effort from junior Yokomo racer Ryan Edwards saw him claim 4th just 2.5 secs away from the overall TQ of Craig Drescher.
In the 27t class Nick turner took the overall TQ a comfortable 4 secs in front of Alan Harrington.

In the finals Craig took the first leg with a measured drive after the pursuing pack ran into a few problems and let him get away. Ian brought his Yokomo home 2nd with Andrew 3rd. The second final saw Craig put the hammer down and go on to record a convincing victory despite an error.

The new aluminum middle shaft mount for the Team Magic E4 chassis replaces the standard plastic part and is designed to improve durability, performance and looks of your E4.

With the introduction of high power brushless motors, getting the transmission of an electric car to be light and efficient but also remain robust can be a challenge. From many years of experience in the R/C industry, K-Factory has developed many high quality hop-ups and this new middle shaft mount is no different. The aircraft quality 7075 aluminum is machined to perfect tolerances and provides increased transmission efficiency thanks to reduced flexing during high load acceleration.

Replacing the plastic with alloy means the new part is extremely strong and any chance of breakages from obstacles or other cars is a thing of the past. The use of alloy also means that any low stress areas can be removed without affecting the overall durability of the product.

hop-up for the Team Magic E4 comes in the shape of the new K-Factory Alloy Top Deck Middle Mount. Designed and machined to K-Factory’s exceptional standards in quality and esthetics, this new part offers many features which will improve the looks and handling of your E4.

The high quality 7075 alloy used to manufacturer this option part is selected not only for its strength but also for its ability to keep weight levels as close to its plastic counterpart as possible. The strength means your E4 will be able to survive the largest of impacts and the low weight means the mass of the chassis virtually remains the same.

Pay even closer attention to the new top deck middle mount and you’ll see “wings” attached to the area of the middle mount which bolt to the bottom chassis plate. These wings help reduce chassis flex for improved tuning abilities and cornering performance.

The new E4 can hold record breaking speed around the corners already, but thanks to K-Factory’s design team, it’s now going even faster!
