The annual Radiosistemi Trophy was held on the weekend of November 17-18 in Toscana (Lucca city). This is a special invitation race where all the best drivers were invited to battle for the coveted trophy. A total of 81 Senior drivers and 41 Junior drivers participated. The track was bumpy from the beginning and it was necessary to have a perfect set-up to contend with the bumps and be fast at same time

Held at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Independence Ohio, the US Indoor Championships celebrated its 28^th year, which makes it the longest ongoing racing venue in RC. In Touring Car Modified, XRAY driver Ralph Burch checked out from the start and didn’t look back until he crossed the finish line to take the win. Team Kyosho driver Josh Cyrul and XRAY/Trinity driver Paul Lemieux claimed second and third respectively.

TQ Mike Blackstock lead the way in 1/12-Scale Mod until his car broke while passing some of the back markers. Team Corally driver Chris Tosolini worked his way from the middle of the pack and soon found nothing but open real estate in front of his car. Tosolini ended up crossing the line first to win the championship, which left Lemieux and Cyrul battling for second once again. This time it was Lemieux who claimed second, which meant Cyrul had to settle for third.

How long have you been involved in RC- I had my first car just before my 11th Birthday for Christmas. A Tamiya frog with a 380 motor. It was like a bat out of hell. You do the math. It’s too many years for me to think about :)

What classes have you raced –

Team Serpent Brazil had plenty of reason to celebrate the 2007 season after they secured their fifth consecutive São Paulo State Championship title over the weekend at the Indaiatuba Track.

Driving his Mega powered Serpent 720 07, Renato Paiva won the Pro title from team-mate Ricardo Perez. Paiva took the championship in impressive style winning five of the eight rounds, four of which he started from the TQ position.

Marcio Salvagno gave Team Serpent Brazil double success in the 1:10 200mm Touring Car category by claiming the Sport Championship title with his 720.

Serpent Motorsport congratulate the entire team on their efforts and their continued success this season.
