Hot Bodies D4 Driver Adam Skelding took TQ and Win at the 1st round of the N.E. Indoor Regional Series held at Batley.
Using the new EDIT Lightweight Differential Hubs, Lightweight Slipper Hubs and Titanium Diff Screw, Adam took TQ in 3 of the 4 rounds and setting the fastest time of the meeting by 12 seconds. Adam’s average lap time was faster than 2nd places best lap of the meeting. In the final Adam led from flag to flag, taking maximum points from the first event in the series.
The Edit items reduce the rotating drive train mass by a massive 42g if all are used. This increases throttle response & acceleration out of the turns also maxxing out your top speed on the straight.
The new Differential Hubs and Slipper Hubs allow the use of existing Diff Cup Joint Adapters #HB61333, reducing drive shaft wear on the existing HB parts.
Also tested by Adam and fellow team member James Ambrose were the new Edit range of lightweight 48DP pinions. With a Further reduction in rotating mass (up to 70% on standard HPI Items) and super silent running these pinions will soon be the pinion to have.
