The annual Swedish Christmas Race was held again at the Borĺs track in western Sweden. The facility is quite nice with a big, open layout. Approximately 60 drivers attended this race which was run with the special Reedy Race format, which used counted the 4 best rounds out of 6, thus making it a very close and interesting race for all drivers.

To be hosted by the UK’s premier 1/8th nitro off road club, Remote World in Slough, the 3rd Annual Pro-Line Challenge will take place over the bank holiday weekend of May 3rd, 4th and 5th. The usual timetable will apply with practice on Saturday, qualifying on Sunday and finals on Monday along with control tyres
and freebies.

Rnd 3 of the CML Carpet Masters series saw Andrew Robson take his Novak Powered Associated TC5 to the pole position with a fantastic run in the final round of qualifying. A strong run from local ace Adam Meakin saw him take 2nd with Craig Drescher in 3rd.

The first final saw a few collisions early on which allowed Craig to make his way to the front with Andrew chasing in 2nd and Alan Bickerstaff 3rd. This was how it remained for the duration of the race.

The second final saw a very close early battle between Andrew, Adam and Craig. Craig got passed Adam and chased after Andrew finally squeezing passed in the centre of the track. However Craig grip rolled only 3 corners later putting him back in the pack allowing Andrew to drive on to a commanding victory.

The Unico Modellsport team were in action again over the weekend competing in the 3rd Round of the Hungarian Winter Cup where once again they took the Serpent S400 to victory.

Csekő Gergely and Juhász Viktor repeated their Round 2 form to again secure the top two placings in the PRO (Modified) Class with their examples of the new Touring Car.

In the Super Stock class the S400 completed a full podium lock out with Juhász Viktor taking the win from fellow Serpent drivers Cristian Faur and Tohai Zoltán.

The fourth round of the Winter Cup takes place this weekend.
