Team Corally have announced a safer and more stable cell for 2008, the Team Corally 4200UP. This cell is specially made for hobbyists who just want to enjoy his hobby and have fun with cruising around without any problems. There have been many complaints about the Intellect cell. This Corally own new cell will be reliable and cheaper.

There have been rumors about a high voltage cell that would meet meet the new 2008 European EFRA rules. According to the new EFRA rule must the cell size stay under all circumstances bellow 43mm. All Intellect and East Power cells don’t meet this new rule. Corally also suppleys now Gropow cells that meet the new EFRA rule and the new improved Intellect IB4600. the undertray for “AZ-0015 Tateego body.”
It can be used not only as a spare of the undertray,
which tends to get hard damage on rough terrein, but as a body-mounting fence
with some trimming.

・ the same undertray included in the “AZ-0015″ and “AZ-0015W”.
・ screws, double-sided tapes, or velcro tapes for mounting are not included.
・ will not fit to other bodies than Team AZARASHI Tateego.

Premiering this Wednesday on Motors TV across Europe episode 3 sees us begin our comprehensive and exclusive coverage of the Indoor International Championships from Las Vegas, We chat with the organiser and star “race caller” Scotty Ernst, talk foam tyres with Paul Lemiuex and have full coverage of the Touring car modified Foam A main with race commentary by John Hindhaugh.

Adding to the international flavour of this months show we go large in Australia with a report from the 1/5th scale world championships held in Brisbane. We also look at the latest machines from HPI and Kyosho in our track tests.

Best known as a leading driver in the British 1:8 Onroad Nitro Championships Tim Wood made his EP racing debut over the weekend with the S400 and the young Team Serpent UK team driver did so in style.

Racing in Round 3 of the British Indoor Winter Series at the Don Valley Stadium in Sheffield which attract a capacity 120 drivers Tim took part in both the 27 Turn Stock and the 19 Turn Superstock classes.

With top drivers from all over the country in attendance driving all the major touring car brands it was the Serpent S400 in the hands Wood that took the overall honours not in one but both of the classes contested.

In what was Tim’s first big electric meeting, the car was left with the standard kit setup for the duration of the event, and proved reliable, fast and easy to drive out of the box. Rapid motor changes for the different classes were required and easily made, thanks to the S400 being easy to work on.

Overall, the result is very promising for the S400 and its upcoming first season in the UK.

Tim’s entry into EP racing was made possible thanks to his sponsors Serpent UK, Radio Racers and Speedy Models.

The Finnish EP Touring Car season got under way over the weekend at the Kuusanko Circuit and it was Serpent driver Tom Kalves that took the Prostock win with his S400. Also in the A Final was Joni Hiltunen who took fifth overall.

Kalves was able to secure the TQ at the 133 metre long track posting a fastest lap time that was 0.2 clear of his closest rival.

In the final the Kalves was able to win all three 3 finals to take the overall victory for the perfect start to the Finnish season for Serpent.

Team Losi Racings 8IGHT and 8IGHT-T were both top qualifiers at the Hao Bao Cup in Malaysia on Sunday, January 20, 2008. Losi driver David Lim, Malyasias #1 buggy driver, was the top qualifier in the 1/8th Truggy and the 1/8th Buggy classes. Racing his Losi 8IGHT, David was the only driver to successfully complete eight laps during the Buggy qualifier. And in the A-Main Truggy Race, David drove his 8IGHT-T all the way to the win. Congratulations David!
