Serpent’s off road development driver Jörn Neumann was in action again over the weekend with his 1:8 Serpent Prototype buggy this time racing at the Kyosho Master in Ostrava in the Czech Republic.

It was another strong showing for the pairing with the young German taking his second Nitro event TQ of the month which he then covert into an easy victory. Jörn sent us this report -

Gerd (Strenge) and I were in Czech Republic from 26-27 January, the race was in a very big ice hockey arena with a lot of space for visitors. The track was ok, with carpet and a kind of grass. So, it was very difficult, to find the best tire.

2008 January 26th -27 betting on 2 days of day, the Kanai player lower player of KYOSHO achieved TQ&WIN in SANYE CUP which was done at CHINA Happy Dragon Circuit.

The Sirio engine was loaded onto Inferno MP777 WC Team Edition, both the chassis engine height in the efficiency aspect was proven.
And, the fuel, using Super Kanai Fuel 30%, became boost to victory in the fuel economy power aspect.
And, with deciding A main, 5 unit in 10 units, using capital trade Inferno MP777 WC. Height of efficiency was proven.

Lower player 下選手 : It participates in 1/10 GP touring class
Using V-One RRR WC Evo Team Edition. The race/lace which it begins and ends stabilizes is developed and victory is carried out. By this victory, in addition height of the reliable stability of V-One RRR WC Evo Team Edition was proven.

The Don Valley Stadium played host to Round 3 of the BIWS series for 2007/8.

Another new track layout was prepared, approximately 420 ft. in length, on the indoor running track surface. The layout provided a comparatively short main straight, before sweeping down and back up in front of race control. This was followed by a high speed right to left onto a short straight, leading to a hairpin, then a complex chicane in front of the drivers rostrum and a sweeper onto the main straight.

Last weekend another dominating performance by Mirage drivers, this time at round 6 of the CML Carpet Thrashnals.

The series offers a well run meeting and the chance to get some carpet practice and try out some different set ups for the whole team.

HB Cyclone driver Olly Jefferies led the way in qualifying heading the FTD list a lap ahead of Russ Williams, the next three places were all Mirage drivers with Stu Noble third with his HB Cyclone, Andrew Carter was next up making three HB Cyclones in the top four! Recent modified convert Tom Green lined up in fifth; Tom has been having a good run at the Carpet Thrashnals with his Xray T2′008 and is in contention for the overall modified five cell title at the Thrashnal series.

Team Corally have announced a safer and more stable cell for 2008, the Team Corally 4200UP. This cell is specially made for hobbyists who just want to enjoy his hobby and have fun with cruising around without any problems. There have been many complaints about the Intellect cell. This Corally own new cell will be reliable and cheaper.

There have been rumors about a high voltage cell that would meet meet the new 2008 European EFRA rules. According to the new EFRA rule must the cell size stay under all circumstances bellow 43mm. All Intellect and East Power cells don’t meet this new rule. Corally also suppleys now Gropow cells that meet the new EFRA rule and the new improved Intellect IB4600. the undertray for “AZ-0015 Tateego body.”
It can be used not only as a spare of the undertray,
which tends to get hard damage on rough terrein, but as a body-mounting fence
with some trimming.

・ the same undertray included in the “AZ-0015″ and “AZ-0015W”.
・ screws, double-sided tapes, or velcro tapes for mounting are not included.
・ will not fit to other bodies than Team AZARASHI Tateego.
