As mentioned earlier in some forums, this new Serpent S120 is a T-bar car, this T-bar is fitted with a restrainer that will allow more or less flex to this part, as done in the past with 235mm Pro 10 pan cars.

Xceed RC Products have announced the release of their extensive range of high quality tools specifically designed for use with R/C cars. Featuring a lightweight green anodised hollow aluminium handle, the surface has been knurled for better grip in the hand while the top sports a rotating end cap for better comfort during use. Also on the handle is tip identifying rings, machined grooves that allow you to quickly determine the correct tool to pick up. The tool tips have been made from hardened steel, which makes them very durable while continuing to ensure a good fit with the head of the fastener.

The 2 Day Carpet Wars championship was held at the Black Lion Centre in Gillingham. Around 150 drivers attended the largest indoor championship held in UK covering all 3 classes of racing, with cash prizes available for top 3 positions, FTD and top Junior in each class.

Practice was complete by 09.00hrs on the Saturday and the event kicked off smoothly with the first of the 15 qualifying heats around 09.30hrs. It was a full programme with 4 qualifiers on the Saturday and one qualifiers and 3 finals on the Sunday. The format of the finals was best 2 from 3. XRay drivers Ben Cosgrove, Kevin Brunsden and Eliott Harper were all eager to do well and demonstrate the outstanding performance of the T2 008.

Sunday, February 24, 2008 — It was a little bit cloudy and very humid but there were no signs of rain much like the previous day in the Maltese Islands. The race track at Kordin was perfect for another 1-day event that was organized by the MMORRC (Malta Model Off-Road Racing Club). The venue was prepared for 1/8 nitro-powered truggies and buggies.
