Last weekend saw the second round of the Belgian 1:10 200mm National Championship run on the very nice track of Luxemburg. After his third place finish at the season opener in Rumst, Manuel Henriet was hoping for another good run and he didn’t disappoint taking his Serpent 720 to yet another podium placing.

Running the basic set-up on his Serpent in practice all was working well with just a little understeer needing sorting out. For qualifying the switch was made to red front springs instead of the pink and heavier rear oil going to 650 instead of 600. Unfortunately Manuel had a few problems on the track and didn’t get a clean run leaving him to qualify for the Semi but he made light work of the race finishing 3rd to secure a place on the grid for the Main Final.

The 2008 Nitro Buggy Korea National Championship was held in Kyunggi-do, Seoul on May 17-18th, and it was well dominated by the new XRAY XB808 buggy taking the first Korea National title! Since it was the most precious title in Korea, all top Korean drivers (including each brands’ representative team drivers) participated in the race for the coveted title. Of course, all Team XRAY Korea drivers participated in the race. Although the XB808 buggy has only released 1 month ago, needless to say it was one of the most popular buggies in the National Championship.

Most racers have multiple engines but most cars and boats have only room for 1 engine.
That means that 1 or more engines are stored somewhere in the racing gear.

The plastic bag where the engine comes in when brought new gives some good protection but it is not dust & oil proof.
With these 3 plastic ’safe storage plugs’ which can be placed over the carburetor, fuel nipple and exhaust port to close them fully and keeping dust and debris outside the engine, and oil inside the engine.

These ’safe storage plugs’ are sold in a package of 3 plugs covering all openings on the engine and are available for both 3,5cc/ 4,66cc engines and 2,10cc/2,5cc engines (NOVA/REX/TOP)

The HPI BAJA CHALLENGE SLOVENIJA 2008 has started on the new Off-road track in Ljubljana. The track is specialy designed for the HPI BAJA cars with all the elements where the car can show its full performance. On the total length of 400m we have a 50m strait, a nice technical part with different curves and some high speed curves. The HPI BAJA cars have been dominating the Slovenian Off-road scene since 2006, when the car was first introduced. All the top drivers in Slovenija are using Baja cars, so usually more than 80% of the racers are using the HPI BAJA in the National championship races.
