Hot Bodies wins European Touring Series

The Hot Bodies Cyclone has taken the overall win at the first-ever European Touring Series!

The ETS is organized by RC hotshot Scotty Earnst and the father of Marc Reinhard, Uwe. It’s a race series that takes place all across Europe and brings together the top racers from all the European countries, as well as many others from around the world!

The final race took place in Andernach, Germany, and pitted the best drivers against each other in a standard racing format. Making an appearance at this race were several drivers who hadn’t been to all of the previous events, including Andy Moore, Atsushi Hara and others.

In the modified class, Hara was showing the way around the track as he was nearly unstoppable. He set the TQ time early on and just kept on improving. Team-mates Ronald Volker and Andy Moore did their best and were able to stay in touch during the first A Final, but Ronald was able to pull away from Andy in the second and third Final races and nearly catch Hara. A mistake led Andy into a crash in the third A Final, costing him the final place on the podium, but it was still a Hot Bodies 1-2 in the end!

In the stock class, hot LRP driver Alexander Stocker and his Cyclone were unbeatable, and with great results in the earlier ETS rounds he took home the overall win in the ETS 2008. Congratulations, Alexander!
