In the competitive 1:12th modified class, CRC driver Hupo Hönigl from Austria was the T.Q. and winner driving the CRC Generation-X 1/ 12th car (#3200). His teammate, Jilles Groskamp from Holland, qualified second with his CRC Gen-X car. Both drivers used CRC Pro-Cut tires on their cars .
CRC dominated the modified class with Jilles Groskamp on provisional pole for round 1 and 3. Hupo and Jilles battled very hard in round four with Hupo putting in a great run for Top Qualifier, Jilles ended up second making an all CRC front row!. Young Alexander Hagberg joined his CRC teammates in the A-final.

The Norwegian National Championship was held in Kodal (170km south of Oslo) on the first weekend of August. Forty drivers signed up for this race, but only 33 showed up mostly due to the poor weather forecast.
On Friday the weather was great with a temperature of 25°C and sunny skies. During practice on Friday I was setting the pace together with Adrian Berntsen, Frank Andersen, and Georg Ellingsen. Then we woke up on Saturday and it was raining cats and dogs! The weather forecast showed 17mm rain and a high risk of thunderstorms. This really posed a problem, since I was leaving for the WC in Portugal on Wednesday, and the car would probably need to be completely rebuilt.
