Tom Wood takes Title
Tim Wood took the 2008 UK title, ahead of Mark Green, both with Serpent 960.
Bad weather prevented a last final to be raced for the championship, due to the race being cancelled.
Congratulations to both !

Report from Robin
The 6th and last round of the Belgian championship was also held at the track of Charleroi, the original idea was to have this race at the track of Bierset but sadly enough the track had to close its gates for an airport expansion.
Friday evening we arrived there, rain was falling out of the skies. Think the gods don’t like me or so, 6 Belgian championships this year => 6 times rain on Sunday or Saturday … Great!

Massimo’s prepared S120; ready for action
Many Italian hotshots from 1/8 and 1/10 scale gas-racing, dive into the indoor-halls for some 1/12 scale electric car racing.
Its all about reflexes and concentration. Good practise for the 2009 1/8 worlds and the 1/10 euro’s ???
S120 with bumper ?
As the gas-racers are used to having a front bumper, Massimo mounted this Serpent 710 rear shocktower to double up as a front bumper.
Enjoy racing !

Last weekend the final of the Tirol Cup, high up in the Alps took place. The race was with standard, mod and F1 cars. Austrian drivers as well as Swiss guest drivers.
Manual was very quick in practise and could find a good set-up quickly.
Excellent weather on sunday, and a 3rd place on the grid for Manuel with S400.
At the end of the heats Manuel was in 3rd position overall, enough to secure his tittle for 2008.
Congratulations.
