Novak’s 5-Amp High-Voltage Universal BEC (#5466) allows drivers to run higher voltage main battery packs up to 28 Volts (9-22 Ni-MH Cells or 3-7 Li-Po), and regulates output to 6 Volts / 5 Amps to provide consistent, glitch-free power to your receiver and servos throughout the charge.
Novak’s 5-Amp BEC is ideal for applications that use higher main battery pack voltage, such as 1/8-scale electric racing, rock crawling or any application that draws up to 28 volts from the main battery pack. To improve operation of applications with high current draws, this BEC is highly recommended when using single 3S to 7S Li-Po packs. This small and lightweight BEC accommodates high-power servos and helps regulate the additional current draw without taking up too much space in your vehicle.
