Kyosho Route 246 Nissan Fairlady 240Z-L

The Datsun 240Z is built from 1969 to 1978 sports car by Japanese automaker Nissan. The Z series replaced the Datsun Fairlady and was in turn replaced by the Datsun 280ZX. On the Japanese home market was the car taken over by the previous designation Nissan Fair Lady.

The Z was Nissan with nearly 500,000 sold, Z and ZX copies within 14 years a great commercial success. At the Tokyo Motor Show in late 1969 Nissan introduced the successor to the Datsun Fairlady – a new, closed sports car that was marketed in Japan as the Nissan Fairlady, Datsun 240Z in the export as. The two-seater coupe was equipped with a 2.4 in the export-liter inline six-cylinder (L24 type) with a light alloy cylinder head and a two-carburetor system of the type SU Hitachi HJB. It had a complex of former Japanese standards rear axle with wishbones and coil springs. The front wheels were out of control arms and struts. To select manual transmissions were four or five courses and a three-speed automatic transmission. A total of 156 073 vehicles were of this type. In Germany, the Datsun 240Z in late 1973 at a price of 17,600 DM introduced and 303 were sold. Now the bodies of these beautiful richly detailed models of Route 246 are also available for Mini-Z MR-02N-RM, MR-03N-RM and AWD.
