One of the most exciting classes to emerge in the last year has been the 1/8th scale GT class. The gas powered Kyosho Inferno GT as well as the OFNA DM-1, Ultra GTP/GTP-2have provided a great platform for some very exciting on-road racing. In response to the many requests we’ve received - PROTOform is now introducing the “PF8-GT” racebody. This body style is sure to enhance speed and handling with its large rear wing and front splitter. It’s pulled in rugged genuine lexan and features 3 wing struts for added durability. If more rear downforce is required, the wing has the extra lexan material needed to bend a “gurney lip” across the top edge. This body comes with protective film, decals and wing mounting hardware.

Sleek and functional from every angle – the PROTOform PF8-GT racebody is sure to be on the winner’s podium very soon!

With the new 200mm pan car class gaining popularity with every passing month Protoform is introducing a new LeMans prototype body style , the Mulsanne LMP. This body incorporates the svelte look and the flowing lines of the many “factory works prototypes” that raced in the 24hr classic in the late 90’s. It features an add-on rear spoiler extension with a gurney flap as well as a high mounted wing. A pair of injection molded wing struts are included as well. The wing profile and wing strut lengths can be trimmed to optimize  handling for both carpet and paved track surfaces. It’s designed to fit all of the latest in 200mm pan car chassis. It also comes complete with wing and spoiler hardware, window masks, and protective film. The decal sheets feature two different headlamp styles.

The past year has seen a renewed interest in all the various 1/10th scale on-road classes that use the venerable “pan-car” chassis. Even the 235mm class has gained much popularity in various parts of the world. These racers seem to just “rock on” regardless of racing trends that come and go.

By popular demand Protoform is now releasing the same body style that the legendary Masami used in winning the last-ever IFMAR Pro 10 Worlds – the “P905B”. For it’s “encore performance” the P905B mold has been configured in the hi-downforce mode to enhance handling on a variety of tracks and surfaces. It comes with protective coating and is produced in .030 Lexan.

The Protoform “P905B” racebody still performs with the best of them!

PROTOform is unveiling it’s latest in a line of winning sedan bodies at the 2008 RCX Show. The all-new “R9-F” is a Global Body Spec ready race body specifically for Carpet/foam racing. It features a low center of gravity even at the legal 115mm height. For those club racers that like to run their bodies low – it’s designed to be quite “slam-able” without clearance issues. In pre-production testing, champion driver Paul Lemieux has given it a big “thumbs up”.

As usual the “R9-F” is pulled in genuine lexan and comes with protective film, decals and wing mounting hardware. We think it’s going to be a winner!
