In spite of numerous modifications to optimize this body for the rigors of nitro-sedan racing, the signature DNA style remains. Another blast from the past body style form PROTOform! The once-mighty CanAm Series had so many body styles that are still relevant today - even in 2007. Unlike the last 1/8th CanAm body style from PROTOform, the Frizbee is designed for large tracks with long straight-aways and sweepers. The Frizbee incorporates some unique air management features to improve handling and stability. A molded in fairing is located behind the cylinder head and INS box (inlet noise silencer) to minimize turbulence and aid airflow to the rear spoiler. In the front there are a pair of air-extractor vents that increase front downforce when properly cut and folded downward.

IFMAR World Championship body manufacturer PROTOform is proud to release the all new High Downforce body - The Shadow. It’s based on the likeness of the legendary UOP Shadow that was one of the greatest CanAm cars of all time. The Shadow features a low profile body to lower the center of gravity and has been developed with the input of 7 time IFMAR World Champion 1:8 racer Lamberto Collari. This body is made to fit the latest chassis from Kyosho, Mugen, and Serpent. Once again it is available in lightweight as well as a regular weight versions. As usual it comes with an add-on spoiler/gurney extension, body stiffeners w/hardware, and protective film.

This body is sure to be the solution when it comes to hooking-up on a less than perfect track surface. The Shadow might just be the speed secret needed for stalking and beating the local track champion or hotshot racer!

In just a couple of days the 2007 NASCAR Nextel Cup racing season will kick off in Daytona Beach.
