3月28～30日にドイツ・エッペルハイムで開催された「LRP　TouringCar Masters」にてTRF（タミヤレーシングファクトリー）のエースドライバー、マーク・ライナート選手がTRF416を使用し、TQ（予選1位）から優勝。ジレス・グロスカンプ選手が2位、ビクター・ウィルク選手も3位に入賞。チームTRFが表彰台を独占いたしました。

先日の「Euro Touring Series Rd.2」でもジレス・ビクター・マークの3選手が1-2-3フィニッシュを達成し、好調を維持したまま、今回のレースに臨みました。Mastersクラスには各メーカーのワークスドライバーや世界チャンピオンなど合わせて110余名が参加。TRFはマーク、ジレス、ビクターそしてフポに加え、日本から鈴木清和の5選手でレースを戦いました。ETSのセットアップを元に、ジレスとフポが更にセッティングを進めたものを清和がまとめ、マークとビクターがタイムを出すという展開で事前テストを行いました。

予選は4ラウンド行われ、マーク選手が1ラウンド目こそ3位だったものの、続くラウンドでトップタイムを記録し、TQを獲得。ビクター、ジレスも2位、3位となり、まず予選上位をチームTRFで固めます。

決勝レースAメインは3 ラウンド制。1回目、2回目ともにマーク選手が圧倒的なドライビングでトップゴールして優勝を決めると、ビクター選手は2-2-3とまとめ3位、最終3ラウンド目をトップゴールしたジレス選手が3-3-1でビクター選手を逆転し、総合2位を獲得。予選トップ3、そして表彰台独占と最高の結果となりました。
