Front bearings are not 100% hermetic and let dust get inside the engine. Both bearing and engine suffer and wear out prematurely, thus creating many problems as compression losses, flaming out and expensive repairing costs. RB studied this problem and developped a solution: the Engine Protect! This machined and treated steel part only weights 2,4 grams and fits most of the .21 and .28 engines. It protects the bearing by preventing dust from getting in, thus increasing engine lifetime and performance. A great improvement at an affordable price ! Available since: 29/09/2009 To celebrate Renaud Savoya’s European title, RB releases a limited edition engine : the SHARK.9. This high performance engine is a 3 ports with the Multi Exhaust System delivering an excellent power/fuel consumption rate. The 14mm long stroke crankshaft is balanced and features a coated pin. The Piston/Sleeve is exclusive with 3 ports and the Multi Exhaust System (1 exhaust port and 2 boosters). Both glow plug and combustion chamber are Turbo. The 9mm nylon carburetor is provided with 6, 7 and 8mm restrictors. This engine will be delivered in complete kit only, with the RB in-line 2045P pipe and compact manifold, plus a free RB gas cooler. This special edition is limited to 400 units worldwide, will be numbered and delivered in the famous RB-box, hand-dedicated by the 2009 European Champion ! Source : RB
Developed by the RB R&D Team, this fuel is a significant advantage for your buggy engine. Increased power, reduced consumption, more torque and stable idle are the results of using this fuel. The vast majority of the RB Team used this RB 45% fuel at the 2009 European Championship in Austria with excellent results. The use of this fuel requires an additional 0,1mm head shim.
